Email digests and timer reminders
Two digests
Account settings → Notifications holds both. “Your own digest” sums up the time you tracked across every organization you belong to. “Team digest” arrives per organization you administer, with the split by workspace, the most active members, the top projects and a list of people who tracked nothing.
Both start on Weekly, and each can be set to Off, Daily, Weekly or Monthly. The change saves itself — there is no Save button. Digests are not tied to a plan; Free organizations get them too.
Cadences are rolling, not calendar
“Weekly” means seven days since the last one you were sent, not “every Monday”, and “Monthly” is an approximate 30 days. The window is anchored on the last send, which keeps the rhythm intact if the mailer happened to be down when a calendar boundary went past. Each digest compares the window against the one immediately before it.
Nothing is sent during your account’s first week — there would be nothing worth summing up. A period in which you tracked nothing brings a different, shorter email rather than an empty digest.
Who gets the team digest
Owners and admins receive it, covering every workspace in the organization. Anyone who administers only some workspaces gets one covering just those, which is why the email notes that it “Includes only workspaces you administer.” Plain members and billing admins do not receive it at all.
It is one email per organization: administering three organizations means three separate emails, never a combined one. Setting the cadence to Off stops all of them.
Timer reminders
“Remind me about forgotten timers” is on by default and fires after 120 minutes; anything from 15 to 1440 minutes works. The email, “Did you forget to stop the timer?”, lists every timer you still have running.
It only goes out while you have no live session anywhere — a timer you are sitting in front of is not a forgotten one — and each entry triggers at most one reminder. If it catches you late, note that you can stop a timer first and trim its end time on the tracker afterwards.
Those four settings are the only notification preferences Keepr has. Everything else it sends is transactional — invitations, receipts, security notices — and carries no unsubscribe link.
