Installing the Keepr extension in Edge
1. Download the extension
If the download hasn’t started, go back to Downloads and press “Download extension” on the Edge card. You’ll get a file named keepr-extension.zip — unzip it into a folder you’ll keep (e.g. Documents/Keepr). Edge loads the extension from this folder, so don’t delete it afterwards.
2. Open the extensions page
Paste into the address bar and press Enter. Turn on “Developer mode” — the switch is at the bottom of the left sidebar.
3. Load the unpacked extension
Press “Load unpacked” and choose the folder you unzipped in step 1. Keepr appears in the list; pin it from the puzzle-piece menu so the timer button is always in the toolbar.
4. Connect your account
Open the Keepr icon, paste a personal API token (Settings → API tokens → New token with “Time tracking” set to Write and “Projects & tasks” set to Read) and press Connect. Your running timers show up immediately.
Updating
To update, download the new zip, unzip it over the same folder and press the reload arrow on the Keepr card at . Your token and settings are kept.
